The Ed Parrish Biography...

Ed Parrish has been writing, recording and playing music since the early 1990's. Ed has played in various bands until late 2003 when fate decided that he would perform solely as Ed Parrish. Ed has a large catalogue of songs, there are a few of these available for download in the Downloads section. Ed is regularly writing, recording new material.

At present Ed has a career as a Firefighter in the Cleveland Fire and Rescue service, Ed finds his music compliments his high adrenalin charged career. Ed's pastimes include walking his dogs, running, weight training, socialising and cooking. He also likes the beach and can be often found on Redcar beach running after his dogs.

Ed is influenced by many musicians and music styles from the Stereophonics, Dido, Crowded House, Madness and various Classical and Opera masterpieces. Ed's inspiration for his songs come from his observations and perceptions of everyday life, the way he feels and more importantly the way other people see and feel things.

His style of music is hard to pigeonhole but it is easy to listen to and very though provoking. Ed sings on all tracks and he also plays rhythm guitar and keyboards. At the moment Ed is unsigned and without management. Ed is currently seeking more support to help the masses hear his music and will be performing live in May 2004. An extensive advertising campaign is currently underway and Ed is looking forward to performing in a town city near you soon...
